Very Easy Web Hosting · Version 1.2 · 4 November 2026
This policy applies to our hosting, Mail, Cloud, Sign-In and managed services. It forms part of the accepted service agreement. It protects customers, recipients and the shared infrastructure; action must be proportionate to the actual risk.
Use the services lawfully
Do not use the services for unlawful content or conduct, exploitation or sexual abuse of children, credible threats, stalking, fraud, theft, extortion, unlawful discrimination, non-consensual intimate content, or infringement of intellectual-property or privacy rights. Do not distribute malware, phishing pages, stolen credentials or instructions and tools deployed to compromise another person's systems. Lawful security research requires the system owner's permission and must not endanger other customers.
We also prohibit targeted harassment, doxxing intended to facilitate harm, abusive distribution of private intimate material, and content used to exploit, coerce or threaten others, even where the specific conduct has not been determined unlawful. This applies across hosted content and email, including attachments. Do not impersonate another person, falsify sender identities, evade lawful restrictions or conceal abuse through compromised accounts. A customer is responsible for the users and applications it authorises, but a mere allegation is not proof of wrongdoing.
Respect system limits
Do not scan, attack or gain unauthorised access to systems, perform denial-of-service activity, bypass authentication, exploit vulnerabilities or interfere with other tenants. Do not run an open mail relay or publicly expose administrative credentials. Notify us privately of a suspected vulnerability at hello@veryeasywebhosting.com and give enough information to investigate without publishing secrets or extracting unrelated customer data.
Use the storage, processor, bandwidth and sending limits in your plan. Mining, public proxies, mass scraping, intensive background jobs and similar workloads require explicit support in the service specification. We explain a verified excessive-use issue and offer reasonable remediation or a separately priced suitable service. We do not apply an undisclosed arbitrary fair-use threshold to justify a surprise charge.
Send wanted mail
No spam, purchased or harvested recipient lists, phishing, spoofing, fraudulent messages or repeated unsolicited contact after an objection. Maintain evidence of the applicable permission or other lawful basis for marketing, identify the sender and provide a working unsubscribe method when required. Honour opt-outs and suppress repeatedly failing recipients. Do not use standard mailboxes to circumvent bulk-mail limits or a provider block.
Transactional mail must genuinely relate to the recipient's transaction or relationship; calling an advertisement transactional does not exempt it. Mailing lists and automated campaigns require a suitable agreed plan. We may rate-limit or isolate a compromised account immediately and work with the owner on recovery.
Protect shared and personal information
Upload only content you are entitled to use and disclose. Choose sharing permissions deliberately. Do not publicly share other people's passwords, identity documents, financial details or private communications without a lawful basis. The customer must implement appropriate rules for its own staff, students and other authorised users.
Reporting and enforcement
Send abuse reports to hello@veryeasywebhosting.com with the affected domain or URL, relevant dates, a clear description and contact details. Include only necessary evidence, not passwords or unrelated sensitive records. Copyright reports should identify the work, the allegedly infringing location and the basis of the reporter's authority.
We assess credible reports and may request clarification. We may immediately block access to or remove prohibited material from the live service, or suspend the affected account, without advance notice where lawful and proportionate to an urgent risk, serious abuse or a binding order. We preserve relevant evidence when required or otherwise lawful and report suspected serious criminal activity to competent authorities where required or otherwise lawful. Removal from the live service does not override legal preservation duties. We do not routinely inspect the contents of private mailboxes.
Where notice is required, we provide it at the time and in the form the law requires. Otherwise, where lawful and practicable, we explain the reason, scope and any steps needed to restore service. You may contest a mistake through the same contact address. Immediate security isolation does not automatically terminate the entire contract. Suspension, cancellation, payment and statutory cure rights remain governed by the Terms & Conditions. We do not charge an unquoted penalty simply for receiving a report.
Very Easy Mail: sending, enforcement and refunds
Very Easy Mail is for ordinary personal and business correspondence. You must not send spam or unsolicited email, distribute newsletters, operate mailing lists, or send bulk mail. These restrictions apply even if a list’s recipients have opted in. They do not prevent you from receiving a newsletter you subscribed to.
We use outbound spam filtering, sending limits and abuse monitoring. We may immediately block sending or suspend an account to contain suspected abuse. A confirmed breach can result in account termination, blocking of further use and deletion of the affected mailboxes and their messages, subject to applicable notice, retention and legal requirements.
Subscription charges are non-refundable except where a refund or other remedy is required by law. This does not limit your statutory withdrawal, cancellation or refund rights.
